during conversation with an American Muslim friend, my friend quoted something from the Muhammad Asad’s book. I did not knew about him. Only thing I knew about him was that he wrote “the Road to Makkah” and nothing more.
To my amazement I found out he was given Pakistani citizen and become part of Pakistan’s Foreign ministry. Very interesting personality. Have a look at his wikipedia page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muhammad_Asad
I never knew about those aspects of his life and (I might be wrong) I think that not many Pakistani know about him.

About mohsenali
Question asked so many times, form childhood to your death. And its amazing that its very much less that we ask ourselves What we are.
I am just one of uncountable human beings that have come and gone before me or even right now. Yes fortunate enough (thanks to Allah) to born in independent country Pakistan, raised by loving Parents and got picked for some scholarships.
If I could do some, I dont know what, for who have born in refugee camps or who have no loving parents or the ones who just know school by what others have told them. If only I could break my selfish barriers and go to do something for them, I will feel I have stood just one step seprate from many who have lived and died.
Otherwise its the well traveled path, I am following right now.
